- Linear inequalities in 1 or 2 variables
PSAT Advanced Math
The specific topics tested on PSAT advanced math include:
- Equivalent expressions
- Nonlinear equations in 1 variable and systems of equations in 2 variables
- Nonlinear functions
PSAT Problem-Solving and Data Analysis
The specific topics tested on PSAT problem-solving and data analysis include:
- Ratios, rates, proportional relationships, and units
- Percentages, 1-variable data
- Distributions and measures of center and spread
- 2-variable data: models and scatterplots
- Probability and conditional probability
- Inference from sample statistics and margin of error
- Evaluating statistical claims: observational studies and experiments
PSAT Geometry and Trigonometry
The specific topics tested on PSAT geometry and trigonometry include:
- Area and volume

There are 2 modules within the PSAT math section of the exam:
- Module 1 = 22 questions and 35 minutes
